Cookie Statement
Last updated November 2026
Short version: this website asks before it uses analytics cookies. If you decline, your visit is still counted, but anonymously and without cookies. We use no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The Celtucom app uses only strictly necessary storage to keep you logged in and remember your preferences.
This website (celtucom.com)
The marketing website measures visits with two tools, Ahrefs Web Analytics and PostHog. Neither is used for advertising, and nothing is shared with advertising networks.
Ahrefs Web Analytics sets no cookies and stores no persistent identifier for you. It records the page you opened, the site you arrived from, your browser, device and operating system, your country and city, and your language preference. To count a returning visitor within a single day without keeping your IP address, it combines that address and your browser with a salt that is replaced every 24 hours, stores only the resulting hash, and discards the address itself. There is no fingerprinting and no tracking across sites or devices.
PostHog, with your consent
On your first visit a banner asks whether we may use cookies. If you accept, PostHog stores a cookie named ph_phc_yhPPxzHXvDgK989zSXdByTpSx2L7Lqhd5HFVcA3wQFuS_posthog, with matching entries in your browser's local and session storage. It holds a random identifier, so we can see how a visit continues across pages and on later visits. With it we record the pages you open and what you click, and a recording of what happened on screen. Everything you type into a form field is hidden in those recordings and never leaves your browser.
Your choice itself is stored in a cookie named celtucom_cookie_consent, so the banner does not ask again on every page. Both cookies last up to one year.
If you decline, PostHog stores nothing on your device apart from that choice, and makes no recording; if you have not chosen yet, it stores nothing at all. Either way it counts your visit the way Ahrefs does: on its servers it derives a temporary identifier from a hash of the day, your IP address, your browser and this site's address, and it does not keep your IP address.
PostHog stores the data in its EU cloud, in the European Union. Your browser reaches it through our own address, e.celtucom.com.
You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.
The app (app.celtucom.com and mobile apps)
The app uses strictly necessary local storage (such as browser storage on web and app storage on mobile) for signing you in and keeping your session active, and for functional preferences such as language and theme. This storage is required for the service to work and is not used for advertising or shared with third parties for marketing.
Changes
If we add other cookies that require consent, we will update this statement and ask for consent first. Questions? Contact info@celtucom.com.
