Using chat

Start a conversation

1. 1Open Chats on the web, or the Chat tab on the phone.
2. 2Choose the new chat button at the top of the list.
3. 3Tap a colleague.

Create a group

1. 1Choose the new chat button and then New group.
2. 2Enter a Channel name.
3. 3Choose Add members.
4. 4Choose Create.

• Turn off Allow member posts if only the group's admins may post.
• A group's admins can rename it afterwards and add or remove members: on the web in the members panel, on the phone under Manage group.

Messages and files

On the web, open the arrow on a message. On the phone, press and hold it. There you find Reply, Add reaction, Forward, Edit and Delete for everyone.

• You can edit and delete your own messages, with no time limit.
• Files can be up to 50 MB: images, PDF, Word, Excel, video, audio, text and CSV.

Mute a conversation

Right-click the conversation on the web, or press and hold it on the phone, and choose Mute conversation. You then get no push notifications for it.

Saved messages

Saved messages is a chat with yourself. You find it through the new chat button, so you see it only if you are allowed to start conversations.

Report or block someone

• On the phone, open View profile, choose Report {name} and pick a reason. The report goes to the Celtucom team. You report a person, not a single message.
• Block {name} hides that person on your phone only. On the web and in push notifications you still see their messages.

What is not possible

• Changing the members or name of an existing group, or deleting a group.
• Joining a group yourself.
• Reporting a single message.
• Scheduling a chat message.
